These terms govern your use of GRCX ("the Service"), operated by Neil Lowden. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

The Service

GRCX is a regulatory compliance monitoring platform that aggregates publicly available regulatory publications and uses AI to map them against control frameworks. The Service is designed to augment the judgement of qualified compliance professionals, not to replace it.

No legal or compliance advice

GRCX does not provide legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. The AI-generated assessments, severity ratings, control mappings, and recommended actions are indicative only and may contain errors. You are solely responsible for verifying all outputs and making your own compliance decisions. Do not rely on GRCX as your sole source of regulatory monitoring.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at neil@grcx.dev if you suspect unauthorised access.

Free trial

The current free trial provides access to the Service at no charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans, modify features, or discontinue the free trial at any time with reasonable notice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems or data, scraping or automated extraction beyond normal use, interfering with the operation of the Service, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

The GRCX name, branding, and proprietary dashboard are owned by Neil Lowden. The open source GRCX engine is available under the MIT Licence on GitHub. Regulatory publications displayed in the Service are sourced from public regulators and remain the property of their respective publishers.

Availability and warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available but accept no liability for downtime, data loss, or inaccuracies in AI-generated outputs.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GRCX and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed regulatory publications, incorrect AI assessments, or decisions made based on Service outputs.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address associated with your account. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
